The Lion House Cottage project will feature nine free-standing homes, ranging in size from studio/efficiency to 3 bedrooms, dedicated to LGBTQ+ adults and families facing homelessness. In addition to their unit, residents will be provided parking spaces to reduce street overcrowding and will have access to our community building spaces. Residents will be enrolled in the Lion House program, which includes case management, resources, life skills training, and housing. These wrap-around services are essential due to the destabilizing nature of homelessness and its impacts on health, mental health, and ability to self-sustain.
