DRAW was approached to collaborate with artist Stan Douglas to envision a new exhibit space for Kansas City’s Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. The design team, working within the challenging existing conditions of the sculptural museum, managed to create separated exhibit spaces for three different audio-visual works of art. DRAW worked with Kirkegaard, operating as acoustic consultant, to ensure each work of audio-visual art would not disrupt another. The finished spaces housed the Kemper’s exhibit, “Stan Douglas: Metronome.”
