The design’s prominent, zigzag roofline – while a special moment of the exterior facade – adds beneficial roof drainage away from shared property lines. Unexpected splashes of saturated color highlight this and other architectural details such as the unique massing which appears as one composition rather than five repetitive structures. Additionally, the rhythmic flow of the roof plane is a nod to the nearby gable roofs located throughout the historic neighborhood.
