Kansas City, MissouriDRAW’s team worked closely with Milhaus Development and Dwell Design Studio on this mixed-use development in Kansas City’s East Crossroads.
This site is significantly more urban than Milhaus’s project at 27th and Gillham, with active rail lines just to the south and elevated Oak Street to the west. Well-established commercial enterprises exist to the north along Locust Street and east-west along 19th Street. This trademark district has a distinct brand, and the design + program of this project reflects the neighborhood’s values and culture.

This project will provide anchor tenant space for this eclectic enclave of boutique shops, one-of-a-kind restaurants, creative businesses, studios, and art galleries. The development utilizes an existing warehouse structure, capitalizing on its authentic neighborhood character and creating a patio restaurant. The four residential buildings complement one another architecturally but share unique amenities.
