Madeleine joined DRAW as a designer in 2025 after completing her Master of Architecture at the University of Virginia. Throughout graduate school, she worked with the Environmental Institute at UVA, studying how material choices shape the environmental impact of urban housing growth. In parallel, she worked on a non-planar wood installation at Morven Farm, winning a SARA National Design Award in 2025.

Prior to pursuing architecture, Madeleine studied geography, shaping her understanding of the duality between the built and the natural. A dialogue that grounds her design process through spatial and temporal representation techniques. Beyond the studio, she carries this sensibility into her time outdoors, often walking around the city or in the Kansas prairies
