Johnathan Michka

After graduating from Tulane University’s School of Architecture’s 5-year Bachelor of Architecture program, where he was part of the AIA-NOLA award-winning project team for the Sugar Roots Farm Project, Johnny returned to his hometown of Kansas City. His work emphasizes the value of sustainability, community, and collaboration, making him an excellent fit for DRAW.

Johnny joined our team as an Architectural Designer after an internship at Trahan Architects, where he experienced efforts toward achieving equity through community-driven design. His philosophy is one of architecture driven by the project’s occupants and contextual space, resulting in a building designed with intention.
