Inspired by the concept “the designed environment impacts all aspects of everyday life,” from an early age, Alex has always studied and explored design with intention. She received a Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University and spent time with the Kansas City Design Center (KCDC) studying Urban Planning and Design.

Winning a product design fabrication award sparked Alex to learn how a design could be practically built and manufactured. Not wanting to be a designer who didn’t know how to build, she dove deeper into the fabrication world, gaining experience in a fabrication shop and becoming a project manager for a nationally known general contractor.

Never losing her edge for design and empowered with deep practical knowledge of fabrication, Alex joins DRAW as a senior architectural designer.
