An artist from an early age, Justin played trombone for a number of musical groups, including the University of Nebraska’s Marching Band. His musical pursuits led to a deep understanding of harmony, proportion, texture, dynamics and rhythm – translating into a talent for architecture and design. In 2011, Justin received his Master of Architecture degree and he has built his career on a solid foundation of traditional design principles. Louis Kahn’s use of mass, form and materials taught him that great design is often achieved from the simplest ideas; that the smallest details can make or break a project.
Justin joined DRAW in 2019, and he brings an interest in site and landscape planning and design, residential design, and sustainability. He is driven by the limitless possibilities in design and leverages innovation while honoring the natural history of a space.
